The SPEED ENGINEERING rear axle brake cooling system is designed for the rear axle of the HONDA Civic Type R FK8. Race car testing showed very high temperatures on the inner surface of the brake disc / brake rotor, even with a brake upgrade installed. A significant temperature difference between the inner and outer brake disc / brake rotor surfaces can also cause uneven brake pad wear.

The system is designed as a plug-and-play solution and requires no vehicle modifications. Air is directed through a flow channel into the inside of the rim, while the original mounting points on the wishbone are used for installation.

Installation Note: Removal of the anchor plate is strongly recommended.

Road Use: Motorsport parts are not approved for road use.

Fitment Note: Models vary slightly in wheel position, chassis geometry, and wheel and tyre combinations. In some cases, the wheel may lightly touch at full steering lock, and the final ¼ of the steering travel should be avoided.
