The SPEED ENGINEERING 13622 Seat Console with Adapter is designed for the driver’s side of the HYUNDAI i30 N PD Hatchback / Fastback. The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed with FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.

The console is designed to provide the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Component shapes and cut-outs are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. The installation space was measured using a 3D laser scanner to reduce fastening material and installation effort while maximising available space.
