The SPEED ENGINEERING 13857 Seat Console with Adapter is designed for the driver side of the HONDA Civic Type R FK8. The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed with FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.

The console is designed to provide the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Cut-outs and component shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. The installation space is measured beforehand using a 3D laser scanner to reduce mounting hardware, simplify installation, and maximise available space.

Registration Requirement: Individual approval in accordance with §21 by TÜV is required.

Road Use: Motorsport products are not automatically approved under the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
