The SPEED ENGINEERING 15074 Seat Console with Adapter is designed for the driver’s side of the VOLKSWAGEN Golf Mk1 / Mk2. The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed using FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.

The console is designed to provide the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Cut-outs and component shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. Prior measurement using a 3D laser scanner supports reduced mounting hardware, easier installation, and maximum use of the available installation space.

• Reduced lever arms between mounting points help lower torque loads on the components
• Expandable with lap belt mounting
• Suitable rail available as an optional extra
• Requires individual approval in accordance with §21 by TÜV
