The SPEED ENGINEERING 15273 Seat Console with Adapter is designed for the driver’s side of the HONDA Civic Type R FK2. The seat mounting is a safety-critical component developed with FEM simulation to support safety and weight optimisation.

The console provides the lowest possible central seating position in front of the steering wheel. Cut-outs and component shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load, while the installation space is measured using a 3D laser scanner.

• Reduced lever arms between mounting points help lower Torque loads on the components
