The SPEED ENGINEERING 16825.2 Side Adapter for Seat Rail is designed for the driver side of BMW 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, M240i, M340i, M440i, M2, M3, M4, and Z4 models from the Gx, Fx, E8x, and E9x platforms. It allows a Sparco EVO Street seat to be fitted to the original mechanical seat rail of a BMW F Series vehicle.

The safety-critical seat mounting component was developed using FEM simulation for safety and weight optimisation. Component cut-outs and shapes are based on calculated and simulated stress distribution under load. The installation space is measured beforehand using a 3D laser scanner.

Electric Seat Rail Note: For electric seat rails, a separate version with its own seat console is available under item 13211. An additional electric motor control kit is available under item 13855.

Coding Note: Seat and airbag coding is currently possible only for F Series vehicles and is required only if the seats or belts are changed.

Registration Note: Registration of the seat console, including the seats, is possible only for vehicles up to model year 2024. Later vehicles require the complete seat console.

Registration Requirement: Individual approval under Section 21 by TÜV is required.

Road Use: Motorsport products are not automatically approved for road use under German road traffic regulations.

Installation Note: Installation can be booked through optional items. Workshop installation and registration appointments can be arranged by email.

Registration Fee Note: The flat-rate TÜV registration fee is charged only once when driver- and passenger-side sets are ordered together.
