The Syvecs Audi R8 Gen2 Kit brings a new level of engine management control to the latest-generation Audi R8 with the world’s first complete standalone Engine Control Module.

Simply plugging in the kit provides a new level of control, offering the following features and more.

• Live tuning of every aspect of the engine calibration, including signals sent to the TCM and 4WD; selectable engine maps, boost, traction control, and launch control levels via the steering wheel controls; fully adjustable launch control with anti-lag strategies and ramp-in maps; rolling anti-lag and pit-lane limiter strategies; four programmable target slip maps; adjustable traction control based on lateral G, steering angle, and individual wheel speeds; and adjustable Torque reduction through ignition retard or fuel cut.
• Monitoring of clutch pressures, gearbox temperature, main line pressure, exhaust gas temperatures, oil temperature, and oil pressure; configurable engine safety trips; TCM DTC clearing through Syvecs Suite; up to eight hours of built-in data logging at rates up to 1000 Hz; live input viewing with a built-in scope up to 1000 Hz; and RJ45 Ethernet connectivity for local or remote live tuning.
• Full variable valve timing, closed-loop dual lambda control using OEM lambda sensors, flex-fuel control, cruise-control support, closed-loop boost control, and control of OEM direct injectors plus 10 additional port injectors. The system controls high- or low-impedance injectors, injector end angle, both main direct-injection fuel pumps and sub-pumps, relative fuel pressure monitoring, up to 7 bar MAP sensors, any size DBW Throttle body, and wet or dry nitrous systems with direct solenoid and heater control through pressure monitoring.
• Four pedal-to-Throttle body angle maps with parameter multipliers; individual-cylinder closed-loop knock control and cylinder shutdown; adjustable Torque demand sent to the DSG ECU, shift Torque reduction, post-launch Torque ramp-in, and throttle-blip requests; anti-theft and valet modes; support for external sensors such as crankcase pressure or Shock absorber / Damper position; control of external vehicle features such as rear wings and exhaust valves; and compatibility with any Race Series dash or partner touchscreen CAN bus adjustment and display unit.

Q: Can a different in-tank pump be installed?

Yes. The Syvecs system communicates with the OEM fuel pump ECU to provide PWM control of the pump, allowing adjustment to suit the new pump.

Q: How are calibration switches changed?

Three calibration switch options are controlled through the Sport Mode switches: Normal = Calibration 1, Sport = Calibration 2, and Sport Plus = Calibration 3.

Q: Can the OBD port still be used to log, read, and clear codes from other vehicle ECUs, such as ABS?

Yes, through VAG-COM.
