The Syvecs Honda Type R 2007-2014 FN2/FD2 Kit brings a new level of engine management control to the Honda Type R range with the world-first complete standalone engine control module.

By simply plugging in the kit, a new level of control is available, providing the following features:

  • Flat shifting; rolling anti-lag and pit lane limiter strategies; eight switchable maps for selecting the engine map, boost level, traction control, and launch control through steering wheel buttons; control of up to four additional injectors for staged injection; adjustable knock control; cruise control; live tuning; and adjustable traction control based on lateral G and individual wheel-speed monitoring.
  • Adjustable launch control; full variable valve timing and VTEC control; flex-fuel control; compatibility with every other ECU in the vehicle; closed-loop lambda control; fully adjustable closed-loop boost control with launch-level adjustments and trims for turbo speed, air charge, engine coolant temperature, and exhaust gas temperatures; and up to eight hours of built-in data logging at rates up to 1000 Hz.
  • Anti-theft and valet modes; RJ45 Ethernet connectivity for live or remote tuning; configurable engine safety trips for parameters including oil temperature and oil pressure; main and sub fuel-pump control; relative fuel-pressure monitoring and limiting; four pedal-to-throttle-angle maps with parameter multipliers; and configurable individual-cylinder closed-loop knock control with adjustable frequency, listening windows, gains, and full cylinder shutdown under severe knock conditions.
  • Support for MAP sensors up to 7 bar; control of high- or low-impedance injectors; support for external sensors, including crankcase pressure and Shock absorber / Damper position sensors; support for any size DBW Throttle body, such as the Chevrolet LS7; wet and dry nitrous control with direct solenoid and N2O heater control through pressure monitoring; external vehicle-feature control based on sensor inputs; connection to any Race Series dash or partner touchscreen CAN bus adjustment/display unit; and live viewing of any input with the built-in scope at up to 1000 Hz.
