Frequently Asked Questions:

Is OEM VVT controlled? Yes. Variable valve timing calibrations are adjustable, including Intake and exhaust cam targets.

Can the kit be used when the engine is installed in another vehicle without CAN bus requirements? Yes. The dealer must complete the vehicle-side wiring, including 12 V, pedal signal, and fuel pump control.

Is anti-lag supported? Yes. The ECU is used by top rally teams in competition.

Can the launch RPM be adjusted? Yes.

Is Flex Fuel supported? Yes. Recommended installation is covered in the installation manual, and ethanol content is displayed on the dashboard when changing calibration.

Can AWD operation be altered? Adjusting the Torque demand table output affects AWD operation. Full control requires the standalone AWD controller for the Corolla GR: https://www.syvecs.com/product/awd-4wd-controller-toyota-corolla-gr/

Is a base map supplied? Yes. A base calibration is supplied through the Syvecs dealer.

How are calibrations changed? Calibrations are changed through the OEM cruise-control buttons. Pressing the cruise-cancel button activates calibration override for rolling anti-lag.

Which original OEM features will not work? The pre-collision system and lane assist are not supported.

Can the OEM BOV setup be changed? Yes. Any type may be fitted.
