Description SYVECS SYV-4WD991 AWD Controller for PORSCHE 911 Turbo (991.1 / 991.2)

The Porsche 991.1/991.2 Turbo Syvecs AWD module is a standalone AWD/4WD/centre differential controller designed to control any AWD/4WD solenoid or motor up to a maximum of 30 amps via pin-sharing logic.

Unlike locked OEM controllers, the Syvecs AWD module provides adjustable control to optimise stability, acceleration, and powertrain performance. It replicates OEM CAN information and uses variables including steering angle, brake pressure, RPM, TPS, lateral G, yaw, longitudinal G, speeds, temperatures, and mode switches.

Scal software provides access to more than 40 maps for controlling AWD solenoids and motors. The Porsche 991 Sport Mode button enables switching between AWD Select 1, 2, and 3. Burnout mode can be activated through the hazard lights or Handbrake, if present.

  • Works with any engine management system
  • Limp protection for excessive slip, current, and temperature warns the driver while keeping AWD active, unlike OEM controllers that shut down outputs in high-Horsepower / HP applications
  • External sensors can be connected to the AWD module and linearised in Scal software
  • A dedicated CAN bus transmit area sends AWD variables to external control units or OEM CAN bus systems using custom identifiers and byte structuring

Available Maps and Functions:

  • Base and adjustment maps: 4 x base duty tables; 4 x adders with enable maps for left-foot braking, front slip, rear slip, and centre slip; 4 x multipliers with enable maps for steering angle, AWD temperature, AWD pressure, and AWD potentiometer
  • Sensor and mode functions: tyre diameter adjustment; 2WD/burnout mode via dedicated switched input, CAN bus message, or OEM functions
  • Limiters and control functions: maximum duty, launch control limit, duty rate of change, decay/hold functions, and AWD cooling pump control logic
  • Protection and data functions: limp mode, over-current protection, over-slip protection, over-temperature protection, cooling pump control, and datastream

Specifications:

  • Maximum Current: 30 amps via pin sharing (HBR1 and HBR2 or HBR3 and HBR4)
  • Current Monitoring: Onboard monitoring of each output
  • CAN Bus: 2 x configurable CAN bus transmit channels via Scal software
  • Analogue Inputs: 4 x inputs for assigning a burnout switch, adjustment potentiometer, pressure sensor, and temperature sensor
  • USB Connection: Dedicated Scal software with full calibration control
  • VCDS Support: Communicates with OEM tools and replicates OEM Haldex ECUs
  • Power Control: Main power control circuit based on the ignition switch
  • Protection: Reverse-polarity protection
  • Enclosure: Weatherproof
  • Temperature Capability: 125°C
  • Operating Voltage: 6-25 V
