Description SYVECS SYV-4WDHUR AWD Controller for LAMBORGHINI Huracan

The Huracan / R8 Gen2 Syvecs AWD module is a standalone AWD/4WD/centre differential controller designed to control any AWD/4WD solenoid or motor up to a maximum of 30 amps via pin-sharing logic.

Unlike locked, non-adjustable OEM controllers, the AWD module provides greater control for optimising powertrain performance. It replicates all OEM CAN information and uses variables including steering angle, brake pressure, RPM, TPS, lateral G, yaw, longitudinal G, speeds, temperatures, and mode switches.

The Huracan / R8 drive mode button provides switching between AWD Select 1, 2, and 3. Burnout mode can also be enabled when the hazard lights are active or when a Handbrake is present.

Note: R8 and later-spec Huracan models requiring an additional CAN bus message during upshifts are not supported because the AWD module is not connected to the same CAN bus as the TCM.

  • Limp protection for excessive slip, current, and temperature warns the driver while keeping AWD active.
  • Compatible with any engine management system.
  • Scal software provides adjustment of more than 40 solenoid and motor control maps.
  • An optional loom supports external burnout switches and live-adjustment potentiometers for on-the-move AWD duty adjustment or switching to 2WD.

Datastream:

The AWD unit has a dedicated CAN bus transmit area for sending AWD variables to external control units for monitoring or to the OEM CAN bus system through custom identifiers and byte structuring.

Sensors / Switches:

External sensors can be connected to the AWD module and linearised in Scal software.

AutoShift:

The AWD unit has a spare low-side output that can send a signal to a shift light or up-paddle lever. This is particularly useful in high-Horsepower / HP applications where the driver may not pull the paddle quickly enough in lower gears, potentially missing the optimal shift point or reaching the rev limiter.

Firmware version 1.15 and later includes a change-light strategy that can replicate an upshift paddle based on speed, TPS, and RPM.
