Description SYVECS SYV-X10 Expander X10
The Syvecs X10 Gen2 expander is a powerful device for controlling additional inputs and outputs in an automotive electrical installation. Using two CAN controllers, the X10 communicates with master devices and operates as a slave, offering its entire I/O complement. All Syvecs ECUs communicate with the X10 using only 2 wires, while incorporated logic also supports devices from other manufacturers.
Four outputs can be driven to a high or low load. These half-bridge outputs can be paired to control external DC motors used in drive-by-wire systems and other automotive applications. Six low-side outputs can drive solenoids, relays, and external devices, with configurable internal pull-up and flyback diodes. Four DAC outputs convert a binary input number into an analog voltage output, allowing an external device to mirror a sensor signal.
The X10 has 10 inputs. Six flexible AS inputs support frequency detection, SENT decoding, thermistors with an internal 3k pull-up, and bipolar operation for VR sensors. The remaining four are standard 0-5 V ADC inputs. Two NTK Lambda sensor circuits allow sensors to connect directly and output the oxygen ratio via CAN to the master device.
