Syvecs Input/Output expansion units provide additional I/O, allowing more strategies to be used across the Syvecs range or more sensors and parameters to be logged via datalogging. CAN interfaces provide communication with ECUs or displays.

The Syvecs X4 Expander is a compact, powerful expansion unit for enhancing the input and output complement of a powertrain electronics installation. Four half-bridge drivers can drive low-side, high-side, or joined pairs as full-bridge motor drivers. Each output includes current monitoring for assignment within Syvecs Engine Controller strategies or as a current-limiting function in other applications.

Four magnetoresistive circuits simplify connection to ABS sensors found in most new automotive applications. Four 0–5 V analog inputs support switches, pressure transducers, and positional sensors, but do not support frequency detection. The X4 withstands demanding conditions and high temperatures for applications including external drive-by-wire support, electronic wastegates, and fuel pump control.
