The VERUS ENGINEERING A0053A-BLK Hood Louver Kit is designed specifically for the Subaru WRX and STI (VA) to improve engine bay heat extraction and reduce underhood pressure. Developed using CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in a low-pressure zone to maximize hot air evacuation while retaining the structural integrity of the OEM hood. This approach allows effective thermal management without the added cost, complexity, or weight of a full replacement hood.

Manufactured from CNC laser-cut 5052 aluminum, the louvers are both lightweight and durable, weighing less than most carbon vent hoods while maintaining long-term shape stability. Stainless steel flush clinch studs and serrated nuts allow the vents to be removed easily for cleaning or maintenance. Supplied wickers further enhance airflow extraction and are recommended for optimal performance.
