The VERUS ENGINEERING A0056A-BARE-C9R C9R Large Aluminum Hood Louver Kit is engineered to reduce engine bay heat and underhood pressure on the Subaru BRZ, Scion FRS, Toyota GT86, and GR86. By improving airflow evacuation from the engine compartment, the louvers increase cooling stack efficiency, allowing the radiator and auxiliary cooling components to operate more effectively under demanding driving conditions.

Developed using CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned to extract hot air efficiently while retaining the structural integrity of the OEM hood. Reducing pressure buildup beneath the hood also helps decrease front-end lift, resulting in a slight increase in front-end downforce. Optional wickers are included with each Kit and are strongly recommended to maximize evacuation performance. Optional rain guards are available to help shield engine bay components.
