The VERUS ENGINEERING A0066A-BLK Hood Louver Kit is engineered to reduce engine bay heat and pressure on the Ford Mustang S550 by evacuating hot air through strategically placed hood vents. By improving airflow through the cooling stack, the louvers enhance thermal efficiency, support underhood component longevity, and can contribute to an increase in front-end downforce.

Designed to be installed into the OEM hood, this Kit preserves the factory hood’s structural integrity while offering a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to aftermarket vented hoods. CFD analysis was used to identify low-pressure zones on the hood surface, maximizing air evacuation efficiency without compromising strength or fitment. Optional wickers are included to further enhance airflow extraction, and optional rain guard Kits are available separately.
