The VERUS ENGINEERING A0079A-BLK hood louver Kit is designed to reduce engine bay heat and underhood pressure on the Ford Focus RS and ST (MK3). By promoting efficient evacuation of hot air, the louvers improve airflow through the radiator and charge air cooler, resulting in increased cooling stack efficiency. Lower pressure buildup beneath the hood also contributes to reduced front-end lift and improved aerodynamic balance.

Developed using 3D scan data and CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in a low-pressure area of the hood while closely following OEM body lines. This design approach preserves the majority of the factory hood’s structural material, maintaining rigidity while delivering functional cooling and aerodynamic benefits. The black powder-coated finish provides durability and a clean, factory-integrated appearance.
