The VERUS ENGINEERING A0080A-BARE aluminum hood louver Kit is designed to reduce engine bay heat and underhood pressure on the Mazda MX-5 Miata (ND). By improving the evacuation of hot air from the engine bay, the louvers enhance airflow through the radiator and condenser, resulting in increased cooling stack efficiency. Reduced pressure buildup beneath the hood also contributes to lower front-end lift and improved aerodynamic balance.

Developed using 3D scan data and CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in a low-pressure area of the hood while following OEM body contours. This placement maximizes effectiveness while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance. Designed specifically for the ND Miata, the Kit offers a lightweight solution that weighs less than most carbon fiber hoods while delivering functional cooling and aerodynamic benefits.
