Description VERUS ENGINEERING A0126A Dive Plane Kit (Canards) for PORSCHE Cayman (987)
The VERUS ENGINEERING A0126A Dive Plane Kit is engineered to increase front-end downforce on the Porsche Cayman (987) without extending the front splitter further forward. Developed using advanced CFD analysis, the dive planes are optimized to maximize aerodynamic performance within the available mounting volume. This solution is intended for vehicles requiring a forward aero balance shift, particularly when paired with larger rear wings or diffusers.
The dive planes improve airflow management around the front of the vehicle by reducing lift, helping seal the sides of the bumper, and evacuating air from the front wheel wells. As part of Verus Engineering aerodynamic development, on-track testing demonstrated improved corner speeds and a more neutral handling balance, contributing to reduced understeer and increased driver confidence.
- Increases front-end downforce without extending the front splitter
- Shifts aerodynamic balance forward to complement rear aero components
- Allows fine tuning of overall aerodynamic balance
- Helps seal the sides of the front bumper area
- Evacuates air from the front wheel wells to reduce lift
