The VERUS ENGINEERING A0140A-BARE-NV6 Hood Louver Kit is engineered to reduce engine bay heat and pressure on the Mk7 Golf GTI and Golf R. By improving airflow evacuation from the engine bay, the louvers enhance airflow through the radiator and auxiliary cooling components, increasing overall cooling stack efficiency. Lower underhood pressure also reduces front-end lift, resulting in a measurable increase in front-end downforce.

Developed using in-house scan data and CFD analysis, the NV6 louvers are positioned in a low-pressure region of the hood while following OEM body contours and retaining most of the factory structural material. The integrated wickers further increase aerodynamic effectiveness when installed. This raw aluminum kit delivers a functional, tested solution that improves both cooling performance and aerodynamic behavior, while adding a purposeful motorsport-inspired appearance.
