The VERUS ENGINEERING A0140A-BLK Hood Louver Kit is engineered to reduce engine bay heat and pressure on the Mk7 Golf GTI and Golf R. By improving airflow evacuation from the engine bay, the louvers increase airflow through the radiator and charge air cooler, resulting in improved cooling stack efficiency. Lower underhood pressure also contributes to reduced front-end lift, providing a measurable increase in front-end downforce.

Developed using in-house scan data and CFD analysis, the louvers are positioned in a low-pressure area of the hood while following OEM body contours and retaining the majority of the factory underhood structural material. This ensures structural rigidity is maintained while delivering functional cooling and aerodynamic improvements. Finished in durable gloss black powdercoat, this kit provides a purpose-built solution for improving thermal management and aerodynamic performance.
