The VERUS ENGINEERING A0140A-BLK-NV6 Hood Louver Kit is designed to reduce engine bay heat and pressure on the Mk7 Golf GTI and Golf R. By improving airflow evacuation from the engine bay, the louvers enhance airflow through the radiator and additional cooling components, resulting in improved cooling stack efficiency. Reduced underhood pressure also helps lower front-end lift, creating a measurable increase in front-end downforce.

Engineered using in-house scan data and CFD analysis, the NV6 louvers are positioned in a low-pressure region of the hood while following OEM body lines and retaining most of the factory structural material. Integrated wickers further increase aerodynamic effectiveness when installed. Finished in durable gloss black powdercoat, this kit delivers functional cooling and aerodynamic improvements with a clean, motorsport-inspired appearance.
