Description VERUS ENGINEERING A0174A Dive Plane Kit (Canards) for SUBARU WRX / STI (GR / GV)
The VERUS ENGINEERING A0174A Dive Plane Kit is designed to increase front-end downforce on the Subaru WRX / STI (GR / GV) without extending the front splitter further forward. These dive planes improve aerodynamic balance by reducing lift at the front of the vehicle, making them well suited for applications where a large rear wing or diffuser is installed.
Developed using advanced CFD analysis and in-house 3D scan data, the dive planes maximize aerodynamic performance within the available build volume while maintaining an OE-like fit and finish. Installation flexibility is provided through the option of 3M VHB tape or traditional bolt-on mounting, with included paper templates ensuring accurate placement for optimal aerodynamic benefit.
The dive planes are part of the Verus Engineering Ventus 1 and Ventus 2 aerodynamic packages for the GR / GV WRX and STI. Ventus 1 provides a moderate increase in downforce with minimal drag impact, while Ventus 2 delivers a significantly higher level of downforce with an increase in drag, engineered to maintain aerodynamic stability and safety at high speeds.
