The VERUS ENGINEERING A0176A rear ducktail spoiler is developed using a clean-sheet design approach to improve rear-end aerodynamic performance while maintaining a refined factory-integrated appearance. Designed with advanced surface modeling to achieve G3 surface continuity, the spoiler enhances visual quality and airflow behavior across the trunk lid. Computational fluid dynamics testing in OpenFOAM confirms an increase in rear downforce by expanding the high-pressure zone at the rear of the vehicle.

The aerodynamic profile is optimized to generate effective downforce without a significant increase in drag, making it suitable for naturally aspirated applications where drag penalties are undesirable. The spoiler operates efficiently on its own and is fully compatible with Verus Engineering high-efficiency rear wings, without negatively affecting wing performance when used together.
