The VERUS ENGINEERING A0197A-CRB UCW Rear Wing Kit with carbon endplates is engineered for the Subaru WRX and STI (VA) to deliver a substantial increase in rear downforce, improved vehicle balance, and enhanced confidence during track driving. The UCW rear wing was developed to bridge the gap between the Verus swan neck high-efficiency rear wing and the 300 mm V1X airfoil, utilizing a 250 mm curved chord airfoil derived from the V1X platform to achieve higher downforce and improved efficiency compared to similarly sized competitor wings.

During development, advanced aerodynamic tools such as ANSYS adjoint optimization and CFD analysis were used to refine the airfoil geometry and ensure consistent airflow performance when installed on the vehicle. In-house 3D scan data was incorporated into the design process to achieve near OEM-level fit and finish. This rear wing is intended for track-focused vehicles that require a significant increase in rear downforce to properly balance aggressive front aerodynamic systems.
