The VERUS ENGINEERING A0198A-CRB UCW Rear Wing Kit with carbon endplates is designed for the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota GT86 (ZN6 / ZC6) to provide a substantial increase in rear downforce, improved vehicle balance, and greater confidence during track use. The UCW rear wing bridges the gap between the Verus swan neck high-efficiency rear wing and the 300 mm V1X airfoil, utilizing a 250 mm curved chord airfoil derived from the V1X to achieve higher downforce and improved efficiency compared to similarly sized competitor wings.
State-of-the-art aerodynamic development tools, including ANSYS adjoint optimization and CFD analysis, were used to refine the airfoil geometry and ensure consistent airflow performance when installed on the vehicle. In-house 3D scan data was incorporated during the design process to achieve near OEM-level fit and finish. This rear wing is intended for track-focused FT86-platform vehicles that require a significant increase in rear downforce to properly balance aggressive front aerodynamic systems.
