The VERUS ENGINEERING A0199A-BLU Air Oil Separator Kit is engineered for the Subaru WRX and STI (VA) to keep the intake system free from oil contamination and maintain consistent engine performance. Oil entering the intake system can reduce effective octane, increase the risk of detonation, decrease power output, and promote carbon buildup. This AOS installs in an OE-style configuration and does not require changes to engine tuning or overall setup.

The system routes both the crankcase vent and intake vent through a single separator unit. Four 5-micron coalescent filters, combined with internal baffling and stainless steel mesh, provide high-efficiency separation of oil vapor from crankcase gases. An optional coolant hook-up kit is available to circulate engine coolant through the AOS body, reducing condensation accumulation during cold-weather operation.
