The VERUS ENGINEERING A0208A-MAT dual element dive plane kit is engineered for the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS (991.2) to increase front-end downforce while maintaining minimal aerodynamic drag. Developed to improve high-speed cornering stability, the kit enhances front axle grip and increases the supply of high-pressure airflow to the factory intake ducts. Depending on driver preference and overall vehicle setup, these dive planes can be used without additional rear aerodynamic components, although rear aero is recommended if increased rear stability is required.
The design process utilized CAD modeling based on vehicle scan data and CFD optimization in ANSYS Fluent to ensure aerodynamic efficiency and precise fitment. Manufactured from 1.5 mm thick pre-preg carbon fiber with autoclave curing, the dive planes feature a 2x2 twill weave and are finished with a UV-resistant matte automotive-grade clear coat. The dual element configuration allows fine-tuning of aerodynamic balance by shifting the aero load forward, supporting setups with large rear wings or diffusers without the need for an oversized front splitter.
