The VERUS ENGINEERING A0208A-POL dual element dive plane kit is designed for the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS (991.2) to increase front-end downforce while keeping aerodynamic drag increase to a minimum. The system improves front axle grip in high-speed corners and increases the supply of high-pressure airflow to the factory intake ducts. Depending on driver preference and vehicle setup, the dive planes can be used without additional rear aerodynamic components; however, if greater rear stability is required, the use of a rear aerodynamic device is recommended.
Each component was developed using CAD modeling based on vehicle scan data and optimized through CFD analysis in ANSYS Fluent to ensure aerodynamic efficiency and precise fitment. The dive planes are manufactured from 1.5 mm thick pre-preg carbon fiber with autoclave curing, featuring a 2x2 twill weave and finished with a UV-resistant automotive-grade gloss clear coat. The dual element design allows fine adjustment of aerodynamic balance by shifting load forward, supporting setups with large rear wings or diffusers without the need for an oversized front splitter.
