The VERUS ENGINEERING A0212A-BARE-X5K Aluminum Hood Louver Kit X5K is engineered for the Subaru WRX and STI (GR / GV) to reduce engine bay temperatures and underhood pressure while improving overall cooling efficiency. By increasing airflow evacuation from the engine bay, the louvers help improve airflow through the radiator and cooling stack, resulting in more effective thermal management during spirited driving and track use.
Developed using CFD pressure analysis, the louvers are positioned in low-pressure zones to maximize air evacuation efficiency. Reducing pressure buildup under the hood also helps decrease front-end lift, providing a slight increase in front-end downforce.
