The VERUS ENGINEERING A0212A-BLK Aluminum Hood Louver Kit is designed for the Subaru WRX and STI (GR / GV) to reduce engine bay temperatures and relieve underhood pressure while utilizing the factory hood. The kit was developed to minimize cost and installation complexity while delivering functional thermal and aerodynamic benefits. CFD pressure analysis and in-house scan data were used to position the louvers in low-pressure zones and shape them to follow OEM hood contours for precise fitment.

This hood louver kit is intended for WRX and STI owners seeking a purpose-built and tested solution for effective heat evacuation. By venting hot air from the engine bay and cooling system, the louvers help reduce heat soak and underhood pressure buildup, commonly referred to as hood flutter. An additional benefit is a slight increase in front-end downforce. Included wickers are recommended to further enhance airflow evacuation.
