Description VERUS ENGINEERING A0218A Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors (Carbon) for TOYOTA Supra (Mk5)
The VERUS ENGINEERING A0218A Carbon Anti-Buffeting Wind Deflectors are designed to address the well-known wind buffeting issue experienced in the Toyota Supra (Mk5) when driving with the windows down. By managing airflow around the A-pillar and side mirror area, these deflectors reduce pressure fluctuations inside the cabin, significantly improving comfort at speed without compromising aerodynamic efficiency.
Manufactured from multi-piece pre-preg carbon fiber, the deflectors are autoclave cured and finished with a high-gloss automotive clear coat. In-house 3D scan data was used to ensure precise contouring to the mirror bases, while CFD analysis confirmed effective airflow separation without creating unnecessary drag or negative interaction with downstream aerodynamic components.
- Reduces wind buffeting when driving with windows down
- Pre-preg carbon fiber construction with high-gloss finish
- CFD validated for aerodynamic efficiency
- Two-piece design for improved fit and surface quality
- Simple installation using automotive-grade adhesive
Specifications:
- Material: 2x2 twill 3k carbon fiber
