The VERUS ENGINEERING A0229A-CRB UCW rear wing kit is developed for the Subaru WRX / STI (GV) to deliver a significant increase in rear downforce, improved aerodynamic balance, and enhanced confidence during track driving. Designed to bridge the gap between the Verus swan neck high-efficiency rear wing and the 300 mm V1X airfoil, the UCW wing utilizes a 250 mm curved chord derived from the V1X profile, producing greater downforce than the high-efficiency wing and similarly sized competitor designs.

State-of-the-art analysis tools were employed throughout the development process, including CFD and ANSYS Adjoint Solver optimization, to refine airfoil performance and ensure consistent airflow when installed on the vehicle. In-house 3D scan data was used during design to achieve near-OEM fit and finish, allowing direct installation to the factory trunk while maintaining structural integrity under high aerodynamic loads.
