The VERUS ENGINEERING A0253A Scoop Block-Off Kit is engineered to improve aerodynamic efficiency and cooling system performance on the Subaru WRX and STI (GR / GV) platforms equipped with an OEM hood. By blocking off the factory hood scoop, the kit reduces underhood pressure that can generate front-end lift at speed.

Lower underhood pressure improves the pressure differential across the cooling stack, increasing airflow through components such as a front mount intercooler, radiator, and oil cooler. This solution is ideal for vehicles that have removed the factory or aftermarket top mount intercooler, eliminating unnecessary ducting while also reducing overall vehicle weight.
