The VERUS ENGINEERING A0259A-BLK Air Oil Separator Kit is designed to prevent oil contamination within the intake system of the Subaru WRX and STI GR/GV platforms. By separating oil from crankcase vapors before they re-enter the intake, the system helps maintain effective octane levels, supporting stable combustion while reducing the risk of detonation, power loss, and carbon buildup.

The unit installs in an OEM-style configuration and does not require changes to engine tuning or vehicle setup. A single AOS housing filters both the crankcase vent and intake vent locations, utilizing a combination of coalescent filters, internal baffling, and stainless steel mesh to achieve high-efficiency oil separation. An optional coolant hook-up kit is available to circulate engine coolant through the AOS body, reducing condensation buildup during cold-weather operation.
