The VERUS ENGINEERING A0309A splitter air dam is designed to improve the effectiveness of the front splitter on the SUBARU BRZ, SCION FRS, and TOYOTA GT86 platforms. This bolt-on component prevents high-pressure air from passing between the front bumper and the splitter, increasing the pressure differential required for effective splitter performance.

By sealing the gap between the bumper and splitter, the air dam enhances front-end downforce and helps maintain a more horizontal splitter orientation relative to the road surface. Improved airflow management around the front bumper also benefits complementary aerodynamic components such as splitter endplates and dive planes. This makes the air dam a functional addition for vehicles used in track driving or spirited road use.
