The VERUS ENGINEERING A0323A-BLK Air Oil Separator (AOS) is designed to prevent oil vapor from entering the intake system on Subaru WRX / STI (VA) models. Oil contamination in the intake can reduce effective octane, increase the risk of detonation, decrease engine performance, and contribute to carbon buildup. This AOS installs like an OE component and does not require changes to engine tuning or calibration.

The system filters both the crankcase vent and intake vent locations through a single integrated unit. Four 5-micron coalescent filters, combined with internal baffling and stainless mesh, provide high-efficiency separation of oil vapor from crankcase gases. An optional coolant hook-up kit can be used to circulate engine coolant through the AOS body, reducing condensation buildup during colder operating conditions. This kit is designed for left-hand-drive vehicles only and is not compatible with right-hand-drive models.
