The VERUS ENGINEERING A0412A-RED Dual Air Oil Separator is engineered to keep the intake system free from oil contamination on the Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 (ZN8 / ZD8). Oil vapor entering the intake system can reduce effective octane levels, increasing the risk of detonation, power loss, and carbon buildup. This air oil separator removes oil from crankcase ventilation gases before they are reintroduced into the intake tract.

The system utilizes four 5-micron coalescent filters, with one located at each inlet and outlet, in combination with internal baffling and stainless steel mesh to achieve a high level of oil separation. Its modular design allows compatibility with optional drain-back and coolant add-on kits, enabling adaptation to specific vehicle configurations and operating conditions.
