The VERUS ENGINEERING A0426A front splitter kit is engineered for the Porsche 911 GT3 (992) to significantly increase front-end downforce while maintaining minimal aerodynamic drag. By creating a large pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces, the splitter improves front axle grip and on-track stability. The design was incrementally refined with underside aerodynamic features to enhance airflow interaction with the carbon polyweave splitter blades, while CFD analysis was used to ensure proper aerodynamic balance with the factory diffuser and rear wing.
The splitter blades are manufactured from carbon thermoplastic, a material commonly used in top-tier motorsport applications. Unlike traditional carbon fiber, ABS, or aluminum splitters, this material is not brittle, resists cracking, and does not deform under load. The polyweave surface is highly abrasion resistant and designed to withstand repeated contact without compromising performance. The chassis-mounted design directly transfers aerodynamic loads to the chassis and is capable of handling over 300 lbs of downforce. Installation is fully non-invasive and requires no cutting or permanent vehicle modification.
