The VERUS ENGINEERING A0482A-BLK air oil separator kit is engineered to keep the intake system free of oil on the Subaru WRX (VB) equipped with the FA24 engine. Oil contamination in the intake system can reduce effective octane, increasing the risk of detonation while contributing to power loss and carbon buildup. This air oil separator is designed to address these issues by efficiently removing oil from crankcase ventilation gases before they enter the intake.

The system utilizes four 5-micron coalescent filters, positioned on each inlet and outlet, combined with internal baffling and stainless mesh to provide high-efficiency oil separation. Additional internal baffling within the separator further enhances filtration performance. Optional add-ons, including a drain-back kit and a coolant add-on kit, allow the system to be configured to specific usage requirements. Anodized components may experience cosmetic fading over time due to engine bay heat exposure. This kit is intended for manual transmission vehicles only and is not compatible with CVT or SPT transmissions.
