The VERUS ENGINEERING A0482A-BLU air oil separator kit is designed to keep the intake system free of oil on the Subaru WRX (VB) equipped with the FA24 engine. Oil entering the intake system reduces effective octane, which can lead to detonation, power reduction, and carbon buildup. This air oil separator addresses these issues by efficiently removing oil from crankcase ventilation gases before they reach the intake.

The system features four 5-micron coalescent filters, with one located at each inlet and outlet, combined with internal baffling and stainless steel mesh to provide high-efficiency oil separation. Additional internal baffling within the AOS housing further improves filtration performance. Optional accessories, including a drain-back kit and a coolant add-on kit, allow the system to be configured to specific operating requirements. Anodized components may experience cosmetic fading over time due to engine bay heat exposure. This kit is compatible with manual transmission vehicles only and does not fit CVT or SPT transmissions.
