Description VERUS ENGINEERING A0536A Front Splitter Kit for BMW M2 (G87)
The VERUS ENGINEERING A0536A Front Splitter Kit is engineered for the BMW M2 (G87) to generate significant front-end downforce with minimal drag increase. By creating a strong pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces, the splitter improves front grip and overall aerodynamic balance. Developed using in-house scan data and advanced CFD analysis, the splitter is designed to pair effectively with UCW and V1X rear wing systems while withstanding the high loads encountered during track use.
The splitter incorporates integrated diffuser tunnels to increase downforce beyond what a flat splitter blade can achieve. A multi-point chassis mounting system ensures strength and durability, while recessed hardware locations reduce aerodynamic disturbance. Special attention was given to oil cooler exit airflow during development, resulting in configurable options including a block-off plate, an exit duct, or an open configuration to fine-tune aerodynamic balance and performance.
The splitter blade is manufactured from carbon polyweave, a motorsport-grade material selected for its high strength, low weight, and resistance to cracking or deformation. Unlike aluminum or traditional carbon fiber, carbon polyweave offers durability without brittleness. The included aluminum air dam aligns the splitter with the vehicle underbody, further improving aerodynamic efficiency and stability.
