The VERUS ENGINEERING A0805A Brake Duct Block-Off Kit is designed for the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8) to improve front aerodynamic balance by eliminating unnecessary brake cooling airflow. On vehicles upgraded with higher-capacity braking systems, the factory brake ducts can provide excess cooling that is no longer required for optimal performance. Blocking these ducts allows higher pressure to be maintained at the front bumper while reducing low-pressure disruption beneath the splitter and nose.

Developed through aerodynamic testing, this kit has demonstrated measurable gains when used as part of the Verus Ventus 3 aerodynamic package. By redistributing airflow at the leading edge of the vehicle, the block-off plates contribute to increased downforce, reduced drag, and a forward shift in aerodynamic balance.
