The Wagner Tuning intercooler for BMW E46 offers a 205% increase in core volume and is designed as a plug-and-play upgrade. This high-performance intercooler significantly improves cooling efficiency, reduces back pressure, and delivers a substantial increase in power.
The core features impressive dimensions of 550 mm x 168 [139] mm x 120 [100] mm (stepped), providing a 31% larger flow area and a total volume of 10.7 liters compared to the standard cooler. The competition intercooler core (tube fin) and cast aluminum end boxes, optimized using CFD simulations, ensure optimal airflow and minimal back pressure. The kit is engineered specifically for racing applications.
Installation is straightforward at the original mounting points, requiring no complex modifications. The intercooler weighs only 7.1 kg and features a special anti-corrosion coating for maximum protection and durability. Continuous quality monitoring ensures suitability for both racing and road use.
Note: Requires the appropriate intercooler pipe depending on the model. Not suitable for 320td Compact with "M bumper trim" (BMW part no.: 51 11 7 894750 or 51 71 7 895 094, depending on XENON).
