The Wagner Tuning Competition high-performance intercooler is designed for Audi A6 and A7 (C8) models. This intercooler upgrade provides a significant increase in cooling performance, reduces back pressure, and delivers a substantial increase in power output. Featuring a 105% increase in charge air volume and a 134% larger flow area compared to the standard intercooler, this unit ensures more cool, dense air reaches the engine. The high-quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators and cast aluminum end boxes, optimized using CFD simulations, maximize airflow and cooling efficiency while minimizing back pressure. Installation is straightforward with a plug-and-play design, and the intercooler is tested to withstand up to 6 bar of pressure. A special anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity ensures long-lasting performance, and the lightweight 9.5 kg construction is suitable for racing applications.
