The Wagner Tuning intercooler for the Mercedes AMG GT (C190) offers an 86% increase in core volume and is designed as a plug-and-play upgrade. This high-performance intercooler replaces the standard water-cooled unit, providing improved cooling performance and reduced back pressure for the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine (M178).

The intercooler features a new performance core with dimensions of 209 mm x 175 mm x 110 mm, resulting in significantly more cool, dense air for the engine and a noticeable increase in power and torque. Cast aluminum end boxes, optimized using CAD and CFD simulations, ensure optimal internal airflow and minimal back pressure, reducing turbocharger load and increasing service life.

A special heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating protects the cooler against environmental influences and ensures lasting cooling efficiency. The installation process is straightforward with a plug-and-play design, and detailed instructions are included.
