The competition package for VAG 2.0TSI Gen3 front-wheel drive models includes both the intercooler upgrade kit and the downpipe kit. The intercooler upgrade kit is designed to deliver enhanced performance for the VW Golf 7 GTI, featuring a core size of 640 mm x 410 mm x 65 mm and an increased charge air volume of 17 liters compared to the factory 9 liters.

The competition high-performance intercooler core ensures optimal airflow to adjacent components, while the cast aluminium end boxes are optimized for internal airflow using CAD and CFD simulations. The inlets and outlets are enlarged to Ø 70 mm, and reinforced silicone hoses are included to handle the increased airflow. The intercooler is coated for corrosion resistance and improved heat conduction, ensuring long-lasting cooling performance. Installation is straightforward and does not require major modifications.

The downpipe kit is constructed from high-quality stainless steel 1.4301 (SS304) and features a CAD-designed, flow-optimized layout. It includes two lambda probe connections and a 200 CPSI EU6 racing metal catalytic converter. The kit is designed for easy installation and includes a reduction for integration with the standard exhaust system.
